Head of the Hooch

It’s rowing time! This year I am missing my annual trip to Chattanooga for the Head of the Hooch regatta. Waiting for my favorite boats to cross the finish line while sipping coffee or tea and walking across the bridge is one of my favorite parts of the weekend. I love listening to the coxswains coax their teams to victory as the pass under the bridge.

Leaning Tower of Dallas

Some things stand against time and apparently implosions as well. A proud building refusing to be knocked down even against explosions and wrecking balls. I caught this image while the building was still standing in stop motion awaiting it’s ultimate fate of being replaced by a newer model.
